Dance Extravaganza
The International Student Association at USC would like to invite your organization to attend the Dance Extravaganza on Thursday, November 15 from 6:30-8pm at the ROTC building. Food and drinks will be provided at this event. This is the biggest event of the semester for ISA and we would love for you and your members to attend! We will showcase dances from all around the world. We are expecting about 150 people to attend this event so do not miss out on the opportunity to perform a dance that is familiar to your culture. This will be a great chance for your organization to shine and for people to learn about your culture.
If you or a member(s) from your organization are willing to participate and dance/teach a dance at this event, please e-mail Mazin Al-Masrouri (ISA President) at almasrou@email.sc.edu
Walmart Trip this Sunday (11/11/12) from 3pm - 5pm
You must write your name on the list in person - you may NOT sign up for a friend.
FREE FOR CURRENT USC F-1 and J-1 STUDENTS
Throughout the semester, International Student Services will provide weekly van trips to Wal-Mart for students who need to purchase basic items. Please be aware that these trips are small and space is limited. Seating will be limited to 13 PEOPLE per trip. Please sign up at the front desk of International Student Services (Byrnes 123). The registration deadline for this trip is Friday, November 9th at 3pm.
Due to the limited space in the van, these are NOT trips to buy huge amounts of groceries and other items. Be mindful of how much you buy.
Students should be outside the Byrnes Building no later than 2:45pm. The van will leave from the Byrnes Building at 3pm Sunday afternoon, and return to campus around 5pm. The van driver will be able to drop students off at various points around the campus; however, the driver will not provide transportation to any locations that are not on campus.
Students MUST be signed up to go on the trip. If you sign up, please make sure you go on the trip. Due to the demand for spots on these trips, if you sign up for a Wal-Mart trip and do not show up for the trip, you will not be allowed to sign up for the next trip. If you regularly sign up and do not show up the day of the trip, you will not be able to participate our trips.
