Considering Study Abroad? Study abroad can provide you with the opportunity to add an international dimension to your education, by both diversifying and broadening your education in ways not possible through traditional academic study alone. Not only can major, minor, or general elective credit be earned while abroad, but you can also study a subject or language not offered on campus. You can study in English, or take advantage of the opportunity to develop or perfect foreign language skills.

By studying and living in another country, you have the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of other societies and customs, thus expanding your knowledge of the world and increasing your awareness of other cultures. As today's job market reflects the growing importance of internationalization, there is a need for graduates who can think critically and have knowledge about other cultures, languages, politics and business practices.
